video

My dad bought a cool little vido camera called Flip Video. He is posting videos online of Minnesota, my nephew, etc. It makes me feel connected to my family. :)

Here is a video of Jack from a few days ago:

It will be good to see family again.

guitars

I think being a teacher is similar to being on a roller coaster. I had a ten-hour day yesterday, that ended with a meeting about the Winter Program. I left school feeling pretty overwhelmed. When I got home, I checked my email. The proposal that I wrote for DonorsChoose.org has been fully funded. There was $350 left, which I think someone paid in full. I couldn't help myself, I started crying right then and there. This will mean so much to the students. I can't wait until they see the new guitars.

To any of you that donated, thank you. This will mean so much to the students.

for the love of riding

The thing about having a moped as your main way of getting around is that it makes driving not a chore, but something quite enjoyable. I can now also put errands in the same category. Do you need some bread and eggs? How about something from the drugstore? Do you need me to run a movie back for you? I'll do it. Anything to get me outside and riding.

It is sunny and beautiful outside today.
